We are writing this letter to express our appreciation for Martha Longhi and to wholeheartedly recommend her as a real estate agent. We can’t think of a better way than to tell you about our experience with her.

Martha understood us and the kind of house we were looking for. We wanted a very good deal, on a house in a great area. We were willing to fix it up ourselves and we were willing to wait. As we started looking through houses, Martha helped us refine our search. She was full of useful information, anything from knowing the area, the schools, the community, to things like building code and architectural advice.
 
She patiently showed us a lot of houses. For about 6 months, Wednesday afternoons were “driving with Martha” days.  She spend a lot of time on us, helped us evaluate houses, both in terms of how well a house would work for us and its monetary value.  Several times she predicted what a house would go for with impressive accuracy.

When good deals came up and prompt action was required, Martha was very clear on what course of action to take and how quickly we needed to act.  Yet she never pressured us, and of course she was always available.

One day we found the perfect house. We saw it the day after it went on the market and we fell in love. That night Martha called to tell us that we needed to act fast; there were already offers on the property. We wrote an offer that night. By the weekend there were at least 5 offers on the house, two of which were higher than ours, but we got the house.   Or rather Martha got the house for us. In addition to the offer, Martha helped us write a letter to the seller explaining that this is the house we want our son to grow up in.  She must have made a great presentation of the offer to the seller.  If it wasn’t for her, we would not have gotten our house.  She deserves most of the credit for this. (The rest goes to our 3 year old son, whose picture Martha included in the letter to the seller).

Next came escrow, and here too Martha proved exceptionally helpful. She walked us through the process and made it go as smoothly as possible.

Martha’s knowledge, professionalism, continuous communication, attention to details, prompt actions, friendly and positive attitude made the whole process of buying our first house a great experience.  We are very happy with our home and are very grateful to Martha  for helping us find it and buy it.
